Join us for a joyful celebration of language and poetry as Charlotte Shevchenko Knight and Nóra Blascsók, the new Manchester Multilingual City Poets, debut their new commissions exploring themes of Welcome and Sanctuary. Commissioned by Manchester Literature Festival and Manchester UNESCO City of Literature, this special event showcases original poetry performed in English, Ukrainian and Hungarian, echoing the city's vibrant multilingual energy.
Charlotte and Nóra will share their powerful new poems alongside other work. Each poet translates the other’s work, creating a unique cross-cultural conversation.
