From Paul McCartney to Pierre Henry, Nils Frahm to John Cage, Radiohead to Polish Sonorism, Donna Summer to Stockhausen via 70s Kosmiche. In her fascinating new book, Everything We Do is Music, BBC Radio 3 broadcaster Elizabeth Alker explores how visionary classical composers helped shape the sound of modern pop and rock.

See Elizabeth uncover surprising connections between the genres, bringing a fresh and innovative perspective to music history and some of the songs that have inspired generations of musicians, producers and listeners. Hear about her exclusive interviews with iconic figures Sir Paul McCartney, Steve Reich, Jonny Greenwood and Soweto Kinch, as she reveals a rich, genre-blurring tapestry of influence and innovation.

Hosted by BBC6 Music broadcaster and DJ Deb Grant.

'Revelation after revelation. Passionate and absolutely fascinating. I love music more for reading it.' Guy Garvey
