The intrepid audience were taken on a tour through Manchester's recent literary past from World War Two onwards as imagined or related by Anthony Burgess, Howard Jacobson, Val McDermid, David Constantine and Carol Ann Duffy. The walk started at Central Library and finished at Urbis. Manchester Confidential editor and Blue Badge Guide, Jonathan Schofield was the charismatic tour leader.
