Children's Bookshow

Once again, the Literature Festival was pleased to collaborate with The Children's Bookshow and the Library Theatre to bring some of the most popular and interesting children's authors face to face with their readers in two special events for Children's Book Week. The morning event featured storyteller, Boori Monty Pryor, author of The Binna Binna Man - the tale of an aboriginal family caught between two worlds. The afternoon show featured German author, Lilli Thal and our own prize-winning Kevin Crossley-Holland. Their fantastic and absorbing tales, drawing on medieval legend, took the excited audiences on a magical journey into the unknown.
