MLF and Poets & Players are delighted to present one of Northern Ireland's leading poets, Sinéad Morrissey. She is the author of four collections including Between Here and There and The State of the Prisons, both shortlisted for the T S Eliot Prize. Her latest book, Through the Square Window is published by Carcanet and the title poem took first prize in the UK National Poetry Competition. She will be joined by musicians, Paul Callick (Guitar), Mick Rodden (Fiddle) and David Lim (Ullean Pipes), playing traditional Irish music at this very special event against the beautiful backdrop of the Whitworth's South Gallery.
