Multi award-winning American poet and translator Marilyn Hacker has published many renowned books, including the erotically-charged verse novel Love, Death, and the Changing of the Seasons and Essays on Departures, New and Selected Poems 1980 – 2005. She will read a selection of her recent work, including her new translations of the verse of Lebanese-French poet Venus Khoury-Ghata, published in Alphabets of Sand: Selected Poems (Carcanet).
