Top cartoonist and children’s author John Byrne believes everyone can draw, and for over ten years he has been proving it with his hilarious live cartoon class which has turned countless kids (and their families) into instant artists at libraries and festivals all over the country. With nothing but a flipchart, a pen and a sense of humour, John shows how the simplest shapes and lines can be used to create caricatures, comic strips and animation – even by people who are convinced they ‘can't draw a straight line’. This is a wonderfully entertaining and interactive event for all the family, and is brought to you in conjunction with the Manchester Comedy Festival.
